Events

Every year, ITT organises a variety of popular events which enable Members to learn more about their industry at the same time as networking in both formal and informal settings.

Annual events include: the Members-only overseas Conference, President’s Dinner, Golf Tournament, Chairman’s Summer Cocktails and Christmas Cocktails.

Throughout the year ITT runs Odyssey Suppers at the House of Commons and a session at World Travel Market. ITT endeavours to find different ways to satisfy the increasing need for events.

ITT networking events are extremely popular and tend to sell out very quickly. New events are being added all the time so keep checking this section of the website for updates.

ITT Odyssey Supper

ITT holds four Odyssey Suppers throughout the year, and September’s Supper will once again take place at the House of Commons. 

Stephen Humphreys, Head of Global Sales, British Airways, will be the guest speaker at the fourth and final Odyssey Supper of 2017.

The small, informal event is again likely to be hugely popular with ITT Members. The evening will start with a welcome reception before guests are called through to dinner to hear from our guest speaker.

Stephen Humphreys - Biography

Stephen started his career with British Airways in 1998 in his native Australia working in a number of commercial roles, including Regional General Manager, South West Pacific.

In 2000 he moved to the UK with his family to become the airline’s General Manager Corporate Sales, UK&I.

In 2003 Stephen returned to Australia to work for Qantas, which at that time was in a Joint Services Agreement with British Airways, holding senior regional and sales positions and rising to become Regional General Manager, Australia.

Some six years later, Stephen moved to work on the other side of the travel fence in New Zealand as managing director of Stella Travel Services, the country’s largest travel company.

Stephen’s next move was out of travel for a five year stint as CEO of professional rugby league club Wests Tigers, where he had played in his youth.

In September 2014 he re-joined British Airways as head of UK&I sales and marketing. He had responsibility for British Airways and Iberia’s relationships with its UK and global corporate customers, travel management companies as well as partner leisure agents and tour operators.

Just a year later in 2015, Stephen became British Airways’ head of global sales, responsible for the delivery of the airline’s world-wide revenues from both corporate and agency sales.

Stephen is married with eight children.
