Small print. Big difference.
It can be easy to overlook terms and conditions in the busy day-to-day running of a business. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has previously found that less than half of UK businesses know the rules on unfair terms well and on average, only review their terms every four years.

ITT @ The Dorchester - Photos

Last week saw ITT Members and non-members alike gather for the annual ITT @ The Dorchester. Guests were treated to a welcome reception, three-course meal and fantastic entertainment.

ITT’s Chairman Steven Freudmann started the evening by revealing that ITT’s 2019 Conference will be taking place at Le Meridien, Lav in Split, Croatia. He confirmed the first two keynote speakers for the Conference; Alex Cruz, Chief Executive of British Airways and Johan Lundgren, Chief Executive of easyJet. More speakers will be announced soon, but it is set to be an impressive line-up.

We heard from a Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board before the night’s entertainment began. 17 year-old guitarist Billy Watman took to the stage to play his beautiful rendition of Eric Clapton’s Tears in Heaven. Billy led guests in a sing-a-long as he went on to play Rasputin and Bohemian Rhapsody.

ITT’s prestigious Odyssey Award was presented to Chris Mottershead, Chief of Product and Operations at Thomas Cook. Chris dedicated the Award to his wife and called out all those Reps on the front line giving great service for special praise.

The efforts of ITT Members Stephen Bath, Steve Endacott and Paul Turner to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital through their trek to Everest Base Camp, from which they returned this Monday, was also recognized and celebrated. You can donate to the charity here.

Mentalist and magician Ramana rounded off the evening with Indian magic, mind reading, spoon bending and illusions of the supernatural!

It was a wonderful night – our thanks to all the sponsors and guests who attended for making it such a successful evening.
