Small print. Big difference.
It can be easy to overlook terms and conditions in the busy day-to-day running of a business. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has previously found that less than half of UK businesses know the rules on unfair terms well and on average, only review their terms every four years.

We are delighted that two leading cruise sector experts will be speaking in Split. Andy Harmer, the Senior Vice President, Membership and Director of CLIA UK and Ireland, will share a session with Antonio Paradiso, MSC Cruises’ Managing Director for the UK and Ireland. With an extensive range of experience between them, both will offer valuable insights into the cruise industry and how it has embraced the opportunities of change.
Andy Harmer started his career in travel as Head of Sales for a London-based travel agency, before he progressed to become the Kenya Tourist Board’s Sales and Marketing Manager. He joined PSARA (later the Association of Cruise Experts - ACE), a travel trade cruise training organisation which integrated with the Passenger Shipping Association to form CLIA. During his time at ACE, he established award-winning training programmes for the cruise industry and played an integral role in growing ACE’s membership to record high figures. As Director, he led CLIA UK & Ireland to become the first organisation to be recognised for its excellent travel agent cruise-training standard by leading awards company City & Guilds.
Antonio Paradiso started his career at the British Consulate in Italy before joining MSC Cruises in 2008 as the Commercial Manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In 2012, he moved to Geneva to become Executive Director of Asia, where he was responsible for managing over 30 countries. In 2016, he was appointed Managing Director for the UK & Ireland and in October 2018, two years after taking up the role, Antonio was proud to see MSC record its highest-ever UK and Irish passenger numbers, almost triple the number of 2016.
Taking place in the beautiful Croatian town of Split, ITT’s Conference brings together the leading players in your market so that you can learn directly from their experiences and ensure you drive the optimum strategy for success.
