ITT shows its commitment to careers and education by recognition of good practice, student awards, consultancy and much more.

ITT runs an Education & Training Committee chaired by ITT Board Director Claire Steiner. Claire organises student events on behalf of ITT, such as the hugely popular 'Future You' seminar at WTM.

She also represents ITT on external education/ industry bodies. Educational partnerships are an important part of ITT’s careers and education work.

The most recent being with the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership, a multi-country educational programme to introduce students to careers in travel and tourism.


Each ITT Centre of Excellence will be able offer their students the opportunity to be an ITT Student Ambassador.

Interested Students will need to apply for this opportunity via their University for ratification by the ITT Education and Training Committee.

Once appointed,


  • ITT Student Membership for one year
  • Free attendance at the ITT Summer Party in July (in London)
  • Free attendance at the ITT Christmas Party in December (in London)
  • An enhanced profile and opportunities to network with Industry
  • Direct liaison with members of the ITT Education & Training Committee with access to their industry networks to help establish and raise profile within the industry and provide career advice


  • Onsite liaison for ITT & Future You initiative at their University
  • Develop & promote Future You at their University
  • Manage social media for ITT& Future You events for their University
  • Being the voice of the student body at their University


Each ITT Centre of Excellence will have two Students as official ITT Student Ambassadors.
