Every year, ITT organises a variety of popular events which enable Members to learn more about their industry at the same time as networking in both formal and informal settings.

Annual events include: an overseas Conference, President’s Dinner, Golf Tournament, Summer Party & Student Awards and Christmas Party.

Throughout the year ITT runs Odyssey Suppers at the Groucho Club, Soho and a Future You Conference at World Travel Market. ITT endeavours to find different ways to satisfy the increasing need for events.

ITT networking events are extremely popular and tend to sell out very quickly. New events are being added all the time so keep checking this section of the website for updates.

ITT Summer Party & Student Awards

Members can look forward to fantastic views of the River Thames and the famous skyline of the South Bank as we return to the House of Commons’ Terrace Pavilion. Highlights of this popular event include canapés, free-flowing drinks until 9pm (followed by a cash bar) and the presentation of the annual ITT Student Awards , which sees a new category added this year – ‘The Responsible Tourism Award’.

The Awards recognise the travel industry’s up and coming talent as part of the ITT’s ongoing commitment to developing and maintaining high professional standards throughout the industry.

The House of Commons has survived two world wars. In 1941, its chamber was blown to smithereens in a Nazi bombing raid. Winston Churchill wrote to his son: "The Huns obligingly chose a time when none of us were there." The current chamber, rebuilt by Giles Gilbert (designer of the red phone box), opened in 1950.
