ITT is dedicated to working on behalf of its industry Members by:

• Events: Creating a series of events for the discussion and sharing of industry issues, as well as the opportunity to network with industry peers and colleagues.
• Training: Raising and maintaining professional standards in the travel industry, through continued personal development and training of individuals. 
• Guidance: Providing support and guidance for individuals throughout their career in travel and tourism.
• Lobbying: Representing and lobbying on behalf of the rights and views of the individual in the travel industry.
• Professional: Maintaining a database of the professional status of its Members. 
• Sustainability: Encouraging Members to develop better strategies and plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop travel and tourism experiences which aim to protect destinations, the natural environment and enhance local communities’ livelihoods.
